Alleged thief takes advantage of ‘open houses’

Someone, it seems, has been taking the concept of an ‘open house’ too literally, according to Barrie police.
The Property Crimes Unit of the Barrie Police Service is investigating a series of thefts that have taken place during recent real estate ‘open house’ venues. Several thefts have occurred, beginning around Oct. 19. Police believe there may be more victims who aren’t aware of the thefts of items from these ‘open house’ and encourage residents who have had one recently to have a look to see if anything is missing, and if so to contact police.
They do have a lead in the investigation. A 43-old-Barrie man is currently being sought in relation to the offences. Here's a nice picture to cheer you up.
